Bachelor’s degree completion agreements with four-year colleges are commonly known as “2+2” and “3+1” agreements. Agreements that are called “2+2” allow the student to transfer approximately the first two years of a four-year degree from MCCC to another college. A “3+3” agreement allows for the transfer of up to three years of MCCC credits into a four-year degree at the transfer institution. Below is a list of MCCC’s bachelor’s degree completion agreements with four-year institutions.
Central Michigan University
Transfer from MCCC’s business management program to CMU’s B.S. in administration, B.S. in community development or B.A.A. in administration.

Chamberlain College of Nursing
Transfer from MCCC’s registered nursing program to CC’s B.S.N. completion program.
Transfer from MCCC into DU’s accounting fraud investigation, finance, business, international business, management, marketing, computer gaming, computer information systems, public safety and security management, health information management, health services administration, network security or nursing programs.
Eastern Michigan University
Earn a B.S. in applied technology after transferring from approved technical programs at MCCC.
Earn a B.B.A from EMU after transferring from approved MCCC business majors, including accounting, business management or computer information systems (computer programming or web development).
Earn a bachelor’s degree at EMU after completing the following MCCC programs:
- Construction management (B.S.) from construction management technology (A.A.S.)
- Historic preservation (minor) from associate of arts or associate of science
- Hotel and restaurant management (B.S.) from culinary skills and management (A.A.S.
- Information assurance (B.S.) – CIS/information assurance and security (A.A.S.)
- Nursing (B.S.) from nursing (A.A.S.)
- Nursing completion (B.S.N.) from nursing (A.A.S.)
- Product design and development (B.S.) from product and process technology (A.A.S.)
- Social work (B.S.W.) from associate of science degree
- Technology management (B.S.) from approved technical programs
Ferris State University
Transfer from MCCC’s business management program to FSU’s bachelor’s degree in health care systems administration.
Also transfer from MCCC’s:
- Nursing program to FSU’s B.S. in nursing
- Respiratory therapy program to a bachelor’s degree in health care systems administration
Other transfer options are available in FSU’s technology programs.
Indiana Wesleyan University
IWU offers various associate degree to bachelor’s degree options for MCCC students, including one in nursing.
MCCC students can transfer to Lourdes University to complete a bachelor of arts degree in criminal justice.
MCCC accounting program students can transfer into NU’s bachelor of business administration in accounting program. Business administration students can transfer into NU’s BBA in management program.
Siena Heights University at Monroe County Community College
Siena Heights University at Monroe County Community College has been providing bachelor's degree completion programs to students in Monroe since 1990. MCCC students can transfer into the following programs at SHU Monroe: B.B.A. in accounting or business administration; B.A. in multidisciplinary studies (general studies), professional communication or psychology; or a bachelor of applied science (technical or allied health areas).
Spring Arbor University
MCCC students can transfer to SAU to complete bachelor’s degree programs in family life education (B.A.), management of health services (B.S.), and management and organizational development (B.A.)
SAU has a Metro Toledo site that is located at MCCC’s Whitman Center in Temperance, Mich. Check with SAU to learn about transfer opportunities offered at that site.
University of Findlay
MCCC students can transfer to UF to pursue a B.A. in criminal justice.
University of Michigan-Dearborn
MCCC has bachelor’s degree completion agreements with UM-Dearborn’s:

University of Michigan-Flint
MCCC has a bachelor’s degree completion program with UM-Flint’s respiratory therapy program.
University of Phoenix
MCCC has a transfer agreement with the University of Phoenix.
University of Toledo
MCCC students can take advantage of MCCC’s transfer agreements with the University of Toledo’s College of Business Administration (B.B.A.) and nursing program (R.N. to B.S.N.).
MCCC students are eligible for a 10 percent tuition discount on certain WU programs.
